A tiny cooking win in Madrid, on a budget

I wanted the fancy version with all the tools. What helped was more boring: one notebook, one reminder, and being willing to be clumsy while learning recipes. Tiny progress is still progress. Cheesy, but it helped when recipes stopped feeling new. If getting set up takes less than three minutes, I'm much more likely to stick with it. I'm no expert—just trying to make cooking less intimidating and noting what worked, what felt awkward, and what I'd change.

the boring logistics are always the hidden part. I keep a note about dinner for exactly this reason
