Pet care got easier when I stopped treating it like a final exam

I'm not an expert. Pet care felt intimidating, so I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I'd do differently. I started with cats when my winter felt stuck. The smallest change was the one I kept. Looking after dogs got easier too when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.
