Trying the boring approach to investing

What helped me: keeping the first step visible, removing one annoying decision, and giving myself credit for the boring repeats.

The first try was disappointing, the second surprisingly good, and the third taught me some humility. Tiny progress is still progress. Cheesy, but it helped when dealing with debt stopped feeling new.
