Settle a gaming debate: ranked, backlog, or tabletop?

Which would you choose: a ranked match, clearing some backlog, or a tabletop session?

I tried keeping things simple with a friend in Berlin. Only two attempts so far, but the social part mattered more than the perfect plan. One notebook, one reminder, and being willing to be clumsy with the routine worked better for me than all the fancy tools.

I picked Backlog clearing, mostly becuase it feels easiest to live with. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me

I'd love to hear how clearing the backlog went after four weeks.

My first thoughts were cost, time, and whether I'd remember to do it.

Surprised more people aren't choosing Tabletop session. It seems like the practical answer. I learned that one the expensive way

I'd try it for nine days before deciding.

That last line is excellent. I keep notes about PC gaming for this reason.

Surprised more people aren't choosing Ranked match. It seems like the practical answer. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability

Anyone else immediately make a little checklist? That's the kind of detail beginners miss.
