What would you do first if you were new to Fitness without fancy tools?

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 9 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it

Start small and make the next step obvious. The boring setup is what helps a habit survive a busy week. Keep notes on what works and ask someone who's done it recently; then you have something concrete to adjust.

Make the next step small enough to do today. The three-minute rule helps with that.

Sleep makes a big difference to whether a routine feels manageable.

This feels a little overrated to me, even if the intention is good. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability

I would ask what outcome you want in two weeks, not in some ideal future. That makes the choice much clearer. That is the kind of detail beginners miss

The middle path is probably best: try it cheaply, keep notes and decide after you have real evidence. A little friction removed goes a long way
