How do you stay consistent when work gets boring?

My first try was disappointing, the second went surprisingly well, and the third humbled me. I was surprised how much being at a trailhead changed the feeling: same plan, different setting, completely different energy. How do you stay consistent on a tired weekday, not just an ideal Sunday?

If two options look equal, choose the one that’s easier to reverse. Start small, keep notes on what works and ask someone with recent experience.

That is a much better way to say it

I would pin this if I could

I used to overcomplicate weighing salary against the work environment.

Good timing. I’d be interested in the version that works on a lunch break.

Thanks that actually helped

Run the numbers on a normal month and a bad month. If the plan only works in a normal month, it’s probably too fragile.

Staying consistent is the bit that matters to me too.

Ask about total compensation, growth and manager expectations. Salary matters, but so does the environment you’ll work in every day.

could be regional too

The low-effort version is probably the keeper.

this is adorable and oddly motivating. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me

@marauderNomad79 Thanks for making it less intimidating

I would push back gently on the jobs part. The messy constraint is probably the real story
