I tried doing questions the boring way and it worked for absolute beginners
My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 3 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.
A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

I get the appeal, though I would be careful calling it the best option. The 10-minute rule is underrated

I agree with the goal and disagree with the method. This is more useful on a tired first week than on a perfect day

This reminds me of something a friend in Melbourne mentioned. I would love to see a follow-up after 8 weeks. This is kinder advice than most of the internet manages

I had a similar experience, but my problem was consistency rather than motivation. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me

Really good advice, and it feels doable. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near the kitchen

Mildly negative take: the simple version is sometimes just underexplained. The awkward part is easy to underestimate. The follow-through matters more than the perfect plan

the context helps. Without it I would of assumed the opposite. This pairs weirdly well with banana bread

This feels like advice from a patient friend. The low-effort version is probly the keeper. I needed this reminder today

I had a similar experience, but my problem was consistency rather than motivation. I am curious whether people still feels good next month
