I tried doing film the boring way and it worked after a tiny failure

I know this is a tiny sample size but after 4 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actualy follow through.

I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions

I am cheering for this update. It sounds small but the playlist matters

This feels like advice from a patient friend. I would love to see a follow-up after 3 weeks

This sounds sensible, though I would need to test it myself. The the library detail changes the whole answer. The second half changed how I felt about the beginning

good reminder that boring can be good. The quiet constraint is probably the real story

Helpful and not preachy, wich is rare. I noticed the same thing in Warsaw. That scene lives rent-free in my head

I would pin this if I could

Same here. It took me too long to learn

The kindness in this post is lovely. The messy part is easy to underestimate

Fair point but I had the opposite experience

My first thought was cost, then time, then whether I would remember to do it. This would of saved me a lot of trial and error

The best answer in the thread, honestly

I appreciate the honest middle stage, not just the polished ending. I would test it for 8 days before deciding

Big fan of this approach. That is the kind of detail beginners miss. The second half changed how I felt about the beginning

I like this more then the top-level advice

What happened after the first week? I am curious whether film stayed easy. I would test it for 10 days before deciding

The vibe here is immaculate. My friend tried it in Cairo and had the opposite result

fair point, but I had the opposite experience. This pairs weirdly well with falafel

Honestly, great taste. My friend tried it in Lagos and had the opposite result

this feels a little overrated to me, even if the intention is good. I would love to see a follow-up after 2 weeks
