A tiny win from Manila that made my week after a tiny failure
A few notes from my attempt:
- keep teh first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate teh boring repeat
Part of me wanted teh fancy version with all teh tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with teh first draft for a while.
Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about teh version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday

interesting. I would like to see how it changes after 4 months. The Cape Town example makes it feel concrete

@solar_lantern61 Small caveat: context changes the answer a lot

@solar_lantern61 Good clarification — I read it differently at first

I like the idea, but the setup probly matters a lot. I am curious whether libraries still feels good next month. I love when a recommendation comes with the right mood attached

maybe, but the tradeoff seems bigger then the post suggests. For me it came down to the prototype

This is the kind of useful internet I still show up for. This is more useful on a tired first week then on a perfect day

love the tiny experiment energy. I keep a note about libraries for exactly this reason

maybe, but the tradeoff seems bigger than the post suggests. My friend tried it in Melbourne and had the opposite result

This is useful for some cases, but terrible advice if the stakes are high. The Mumbai example makes it feel concrete

Good reminder that boring can be good. I would test it for 7 days before deciding

Fair point, but I had the opposite experience. The 4-minute rule is underrated. This belongs on a rainy evening list

Helpful and not preachy, which is rare. The Madrid example makes it feel concrete

I think this advice is overrated. The messy part is easy to underestimate

love the tiny experiment energy. The beautiful constraint is probly the real story
