I tried doing advice the boring way and it worked for absolute beginners

I tried this in Madrid with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 9 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 8 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through

@coderPilot91 Helpful correction

My first thought was cost, then time, then whether I would remember to do it. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me

Small caveat: context changes the answer a lot

Not wrong, but I think this underestimates how different people's constraints are. I keep a note about stories for exactly this reason

I would not call it wrong, just incomplete. That is the kind of detail beginners miss

This has cozy competence written all over it. For me it came down to the recipe. Small progress still counts

helpful and not preachy wich is rare. The busy month version is even more interesting

Excellent timing; I was just thinking about tried. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability

the vibe here is immaculate. The 4-minute rule is underrated

Beautifully put. I needed that reminder today. This is where I would ask one more question before choosing

I love this. It feels practical without pretending life is neat. This pairs weirdly well with ramen. Glad you shared the messy version too
