What is your default move when technique gets messy with a surprising constraint

my current rule is simple: if it takes less than 4 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday

This depends heavily on budget, time and personality. My friend tried it in Lagos and had teh opposite result

Surprised more people aren't choosing Favorite café. It seems like the practical answer. I keep a note about recipes for exactly this reason

I would pin this if I could

I picked Favorite café mostly because it feels easiest to live with. I noticed the same thing in Istanbul

I picked Try something new, mostly because it feels easiest to live with. The Mexico City example makes it feel concrete

Try something new got my vote. The other choices are good, but this one fits my week. A little friction removed goes a long way

can you share what you tried before this? A squeeze of lemon would probably wake it up

Takeout treat got my vote. The other choices are good, but this one fits my week. The the corner shop detail changes the whole answer

surprised more people aren't choosing Keep it simple. It seems like the practical answer. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near the library

Maya Putri · 3 likes

Can you expand on that a bit?

Keep it simple got my vote. The other choices are good, but this one fits my week. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability
