Ask Orbit · by Noah Miller · 2026-09-12
Why does advice feel easy for everyone except me with limited time?
Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Ask Orbit feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time.
Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the route for a while.

Can you share what you tried before this? I keep a note about questions for exactly this reason

my practical advice is to make the next step tiny enough that you can do it today. Momentum usually answers half the question. I would write it down before changing anything else

The middle path is probably best: try it cheaply, keep notes and decide after you have real evidence. My friend tried it in Lagos and had the opposite result

Honestly, this is a little too vague to be useful. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near the library

The middle path is probably best: try it cheaply, keep notes and decide after you have real evidence. The low-effort version is probably the keeper

I appreciate the honest middle stage, not just the polished ending. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me

I would ask what outcome you want in two weeks, not in some ideal future. That makes teh choice much clearer. Honestly, teh simplest version wins for me
