The awkward joy of doing the first draft badly at first before coffee

The detail that surprised me was how much the corner shop changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.

I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

I appreciate the honest middle stage, not just the polished ending. My only addition is to make the first step visible

Thanks that actually helped

There is a hidden assumption here that not everyone shares. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability

the before angle is what sold me. I keep a note about mobility for exactly this reason

I am mostly here for the follow-up. That is where the boring checklist helps. This is kinder advice than most of the internet manages

I think the bad version of this advice causes a lot of frustration. This is where I would ask one more question before choosing. This is kinder advice then most of the internet manages

Do you think this would work in a smaller place than São Paulo? My friend tried it in Jakarta and had the opposite result

Amazing how much difference one small change can make. For me it came down to the playlist

Same here. It took me too long to learn

I wish more posts had this much context. The quiet Sunday version is even more interesting

I am cheering for this update. A little friction removed goes a long way
