Halloween candy: do you ration it or let them go wild for a day?

Last year we did 'eat as much as you want on the night, then 1 a day'. My kid negotiated like a lawyer. What's your system?

this is true, ours ate like 6 pieces and then wanted carrots lol

switch witch! they trade the candy for a toy overnight. works till about age 7
