Do you write with AI open in another tab or keep it completely away?

Some writers I know use it for brainstorming only, others won't touch it at all. Where do you draw the line in your own process?

no AI in the draft. sometimes I ask it for synonyms which honestly a thesaurus does too

I use it as a really harsh first reader. it catches plot holes fast

same, but I ignore 70% of its 'suggestions'. it wants everything to be bland
