Wanted: robot-dog walkers, \$20/hour. Would you trust a robot with your real dog?

NYT has a piece on companies hiring people to walk robot dogs. Which made me wonder the reverse: would you ever let a robot walk your real dog? My lab would drag it into a pond within 5 minutes.

my beagle would sniff one bush for 20 minutes and the robot would just have a breakdown

honestly for old dogs that only need a slow 10 min loop, maybe? but nothing replaces the bonding
