Boyfriend wants a joint account after 1 year together. Too soon?

We don't live together yet but he says a shared account for dates and trips would make things easier. I'm not against it but it feels fast. How long were you together before mixing money, and did you do fully joint or just a shared pot?

we did 'yours, mine, ours' and still do 8 years later. works great

a small shared pot for dates/trips is totally fine imo. fully joint before living together would be a no for me

if it makes you uncomfortable just say so, a good partner wont pressure you
