BTC chilling around \$80k while Ripple gets a bank charter

Bitcoin is flat around \$80.3k today (+0.1% 24h) while XRP pumps on the Ripple bank news. Kinda funny how regulatory wins for 'crypto' don't really move BTC anymore. Is BTC fully decoupled from the altcoin news cycle now?
