BTC sitting around \$83k, ETH near \$2,460. Chop or a setup into year-end?

BTC is hovering around \$83k today, up roughly 1.1% on the day, and ETH is near \$2,460 with about a 2% gain. Not exactly fireworks, but it's green and fairly steady. I can't decide if this is just more sideways chop or the quiet before a year-end move. What are you all watching to tell the difference?

Year end runs are a meme until they aren't

ETH outperforming BTC even slightly is interesting. Could be rotation starting or could be nothing

one day it'll be right and we'll all pretend we called it

it's always 'could be rotation' and then it's nothing lol

Honestly the macro side matters more than any chart right now imo. Rates, liquidity, that kind of stuff drives the big moves

agree, crypto still trades like a risk asset most days

1% days are my favourite days honestly, nobody gets liquidated and I can sleep

Watching volume more than price. Green candles on thin volume dont tell me much

this. moves without volume tend to fade in my experience

Anyone else find these slow grinding weeks harder than the volatile ones? I keep wanting to do something

the urge to fiddle with your portfolio is the real enemy

doing nothing is a strategy too, just a hard one
