Zelensky says US intel sharing is working again after Oslo talks, but it doesn't sound like a reset

bbc.co.uk

After talks with a Trump envoy in Oslo, Zelensky says US intelligence sharing 'works now', which sounds like good news for Ukraine. But the two sides still appear to be at loggerheads on the bigger picture. Is restored intel sharing a meaningful step, or a minimum baseline that just papers over the real disagreements?

neutral-ish ground, Norway does a lot of this kind of hosting historically

Would love to know what they're actually disagreeing on, the article is vague

probably intentionally vague tbh, neither side wants details out mid negotiation

intel sharing is pretty much the floor for any kind of support. good it's back but it's not a breakthrough

floor is still better than basement

agree, the loggerheads part is the actual story

watching this from Poland and every one of these meetings feels like a coin flip

same from the baltics. people here read every headline twice

'works now' is such a careful phrasing. implies it didnt work for a while

that was my read too. diplomatic way of saying it was a problem

intel has real value on the ground, early warning for strikes etc. this matters more than the headline suggests

yeah people underrate this. it's not glamorous but it saves lives
