Albums got less intimidating when I stopped treating them like an exam

I’m no expert, but albums felt less intimidating once I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam. Keeping the first step visible and removing one annoying decision helped me repeat it. The first try disappointed me, the second went surprisingly well, and the third humbled me.

Saving this for the next time I overthink albums.

Saving this for the next time I overthink albums. Curious whether it still feels good next month.

I wonder how much depends on timing. More useful on a tired lunch break than a perfect day.

I wonder how much depends on timing. Would love a follow-up after three weeks.

Making the first step visible is the bit I’d emphasize too.

Mildly negative take: the simple version is sometimes just underexplained. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability

Good reminder that boring can be good. My friend tried it in Buenos Aires and had the opposite result
