Notes from a very normal busy month with Cozy Places
This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. home got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.
I tried this in Cape Town with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.
I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 6 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.
I tried this in Seoul with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan

What would you change if you started over? I am curious whether home still feels good next month

Kind of wild how often curious is the whole issue

Wonderful detail. It makes the whole thing feel real. This is where I would ask one more question before choosing

Anecdotally, this tracks with what I have seen. I noticed the same thing in Madrid

This sounds sensible, though I would need to test it myself. The low-effort version is probably the keeper

I am saving this for the next time I overthink cozy. That is where the boring checklist helps

You explained the tradeoff really clearly. It sounds small, but the practice run matters

Agree completely. The simple version is underrated. I used to overcomplicate this constantly

wonderful detail. It makes the whole thing feel real. My friend tried it in Berlin and had the opposite result
