A small training win in Manila
Two attempts is a tiny sample, but keeping the setup simple makes me more likely to follow through. I wanted all the tools; one notebook, one reminder and being willing to be clumsy worked better.
I'm keeping the first step visible, removing one annoying decision and giving the boring repeat some credit. Training got easier when every attempt stopped feeling like a final exam.

This is adorable and oddly motivating.

I like this more then the top-level advice

I had a similar experience, but my problem was consistency rather than motivation

What would you change if you started over? I would test it for 4 days before deciding. Consistency beats intensity here

I would love a follow-up example

I keep a note about training for exactly this reason.
