My favorite low-effort upgrade for ux in real life

a few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

Big fan of this approach. A little friction removed goes a long way

Anecdotally, this tracks with what I have seen. This is more useful on a tired lunch break than on a perfect day

excellent timing; I was just thinking about favorite. My only addition is to make the first step visible

Agree completely. The simple version is underrated. This pairs weirdly well with jollof rice

Can you expand on that a bit?

I am curious what changed your mind

I would not call it wrong, just incomplete. For me it came down to the prototype

Totally agree, especially for beginners

I am cheering for this update. My friend tried it in Mexico City and had the opposite result

What would you change if you started over? The low-effort version is probly the keeper

I am mostly here for the follow-up. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me

this has cozy competence written all over it. The low-effort version is probably the keeper

This comment has main-character footnote energy

Honestly, this is a little too vague to be useful. It sounds small, but the prototype matters

This made me smile more then expected. My only addition is to make the first step visible

this made me smile more than expected. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability. This is exactly the kind of tradeoff teams argue about for weeks

Beautifully concise

Anecdotally, this tracks with what I have seen. That is where the boring checklist helps

Can you share what you tried before this? It reminds me of a very specific conversation near a coworking table

I had the same reaction to before

what happened after the first week? I am curious whether life stayed easy. I would love to see a follow-up after 9 weeks

did anyone else read this and immediately make a tiny checklist? I learned that one the expensive way
