The small architecture habit that changed my rainy evening from my weekend notes

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 10 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

great point, especially the part about rainy. That is where the boring checklist helps

You explained the tradeoff really clearly. The rainy evening version is even more interesting. I would love to see the benchmark numbers

I am cheering for this update. The 8-minute rule is underrated

I love this. It feels practical without pretending life is neat. I learned that one the expensive way. Naming things remains undefeated as the hardest problem

That is a good boundary

I wanted to like this, but the changed argument is weak. I am curious whether architecture still feels good next month

I think the bad version of this advice causes a lot of frustration. This is where I would ask one more question before choosing

Beautifully put. I needed that reminder today. My only addition is to make the first step visible. I would love to see the benchmark numbers

I do not have a strong take, but the notes detail is useful. For me it came down to the first draft. Good reminder that tools should serve people, not the reverse

This is genuinely helpful thanks for writing it out. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability
