The thing nobody told me about learning that actually stuck

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 7 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the playlist for a while.

The detail that surprised me was how much a trailhead changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy

The kindness in this post is lovely. That is the kind of detail beginners miss. I would love to see the benchmark numbers

Amazing how much difference one small change can make. This is more useful on a tired Monday morning than on a perfect day
